If there were to be an important person, alongside Lillian Dreyer, it would be Piet. Not only partners in crime, but in the Industrial and Mining industry as well. Piet worked for the Thomas Group before starting his own business - P & D Cranes and Engineering – which then lead to Piet and Lillian establishing a business together, Premier load Testing and Services.

Piet has over 24 years of experience and along with his trusted employee, now shareholder of Piet’s latest established business (Pikoni Engineering & Construction) who has a further 16 years of experience, allowing a combination of 40 years’ experience.

Our aim is to help the industrial and mining industry to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.

Our goal is to establish a lifting company, that can train and produce sufficient lifting tackle inspectors (LTI’s) as well as lifting machinery inspectors (LMI’s - LMI Reg. No.: LMI20091200155). To Uplift the lifting standards of clients to eventually comply to the South African National Standards for Overhead Cranes, Lifting Tackle, Mobile Cranes and Forklifts, just to name a few.

Thus far, being registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA - LME Reg. No.: LME 274) as well as the Lifting Equipment Engineering Association of South Africa (LEEASA - LEEASA Reg. No.: 8100342) and having a registered LMI are only some of the goals the company has reached.

We strive to work hand in hand with ECSA and LEEASA to take the Industrial and Mining Industry to where it should and deserves to be.
